Wishing everyone a blessed rest of the week!
So now what? After a month of being in a honeymoon with G-d and experiencing His warm embrace, today we wake up to our mundane lives. How do we keep ourselves inspired? How do we carry this beautiful feeling of being loved and wanted the rest of the year? The Rambam describes life “as a dark night on a stormy plain”- lashed by the rain, lost in the darkness, but suddenly there is a flash of lightning. In a millisecond we can see and the scenery is clear. We are able to see our direction. But just as it appears it disappears and we have to remember what we saw in order to move on. The month of Tishrei was that flash of Guidence. Let’s take that flash of inspiration with us and let’s not forget it through the year. May we continue to live inspired that is our job.
