Welcome to “Battle Thursday,” the day in which we gain tools ⚒ to fight our Yetzer Hara (evil inclination).
The biggest problem we have in our lives is our EGO. H”S gave us an EGO so we can appreciate who we really are. Our true self is not our appearance, our occupation, our place in society, etc.. all these different projections we juggle in life sometimes can make us haughty. Our true self is our essence, truly a spark of G-d inside, which is one and the same with all sparks concealed in others.
The realization of this truth should arouse in ourselves humility. We are not here for ourselves, this is not our purpose, we are here to help others be the best they can be. When we become busy elevating others H”S elevates us.
Look at the gifts H”S has granted you and use them for the good of the world around you.
The Rebbe Lubavitch at the beginning of his mandate began sending hundreds of Lubavitcher young couples to live in remote places where there were Jews but no Judaism. The Rebbe was highly critiqued by this, people said that these couples at the end would loose their yidishkeit. The Rebbes approach was rather revolutionary and today we can see the fruits from this venture. He said that if a Jew is busy bringing other Jews back to their roots he will never get lost. I myself am a product of the Rebbe’s dream B”H.
So get busy inspiring someone else. If you know “aleph” teach “aleph.” Everyone no matter their standing can always help someone else.
