We all make mistakes in our life, sometimes knowingly and sometimes unknowingly. Some stay broken by them and some flourish and grow by them.
The sages teach that there is nothing more precious to G-d than a broken heart .
When a person experiences brokenness something magical happens inside and that is the resolve to change and break the bad and harmful habits that keep us locked in a harmful place.
Why do Jews pray to G-d and weep at a broken wall? Because Jews know that life sometimes breaks you and the reality is that we are here to mend what is broken.
And the beautiful part is that when we do fix what is broken we come to a place that takes us much closer to H”S and to who we really are❤️.
