Today we count the nint …

Today we count the ninth day of the Omer with “Gevura shebe Gevura” (Discipline within Discipline).
If you ask any successful person how was he or she able to accomplish what he/she did, most likely he/she will tell you have a plan and stick to it. Without this midot ,and today it’s double, we would be unable to accomplish anything.
Organization is a big word and an important one. For some it is very difficult to be organized, but in reality, this key skill will help you be much more productive and your time will be used in a much more efficient way.
Schools should really teach kids this very important skill, it would really alleviate so much anxiety and stress from our lives. But for discipline to be used in a healthy way, it must be balanced in other areas of our lives within the six other emotional attributes (kindness, discipline, compassion, endurance, humility, bonding, and dignity).
A good way in which we can use this potent combination is to write down a detailed plan of what you need to accomplish during your day and at the end of the day check and see if you were able to succeed. Try it out in every area of your life: family, work, friendships, health, etc… and you will see what a positive outcome you’ll have. “If you don’t know where you are going, then how are you going to get there?”
