Today we count the 23rd …

Today we count the 23rd day of the Omer with “Gevurah shebe Netzach” (Discipline within Endurance).
In life nothing gets done without:
A. A Dream
B. A Plan
C. Action
Our intelectual faculties are Chochma (Wisdom), Bina (Understanding), and Da’at (Knowledge).
First we need to have an idea , then we need to understand it from every angle, and lastly we must implement it.
Success doesn’t make itself in a vacuum, for sure one always needs G-d’s help in everything one does, but the effort has to come from us.
The combination of discipline and endurance is what allows us to get that special strength to be doers and trailblazers.
If we sit down and wait for things to happen, you will miss the boat. Every beginning is hard, and we are all scared to fail, but if we don’t just plunge in the waters of uncertainty, we will never know.
It’s better to fail than to never had tried, for we never loose. If the first time we didn’t succeed we did gain a lot of experience and new knowledge that we didn’t have before.
We are the architects of our own destiny, and as Hillel says: “If I’m not for myself, who is for me? When I’m for myself, what am I? If not now, when” (Avos 1:14).
In order for a person to have a meaningful, constructive identity, must be one that gives to himself. What this means is that for a person to be mentally and emotionally healthy, he must know his worth by having a valid awareness of his G-d given abilities and positive character traits. At the same time he must be aware of his character defects in order to correct them.
When we give to ourselves, we will be able to give to others.
What are you waiting? Give your special contribution to the world, we are all waiting.
