Today we begin the sixth week of the Counting of the Omer. Two more to go before Shavuot, with”Chesed She Be Yesod” (Kindness in Foundation).
The week of Yesod works on the channel through which all the higher sefiros interact in the world. Yesod is where Heaven touches Earth. Yesod creates a relationship between G-d and His world.
We could also explain Yesod as the glue that sticks everything together.
Acting with “Chesed She Be Yesod” is to imbue the world with kindness. When we are kind to ourselves, others, and G-d we become a conduit and a wellspring in which we can change the world.
Try to have patience and show love to those who are the least lovable, you will be amazed to see how you can bring out the best in them.
When we act with Yesod in every area of our lives with holiness in our speech, eating habits, and intimate relationships we are able to bring a complete transformation to the world. By changing the foundation the whole structure will change too.
