Today, the 7th of Adar …

Today, the 7th of Adar is the day in which Moshe Rabeinu was born and it was the day he died at the age of 120. The day of the passing of a Tzadik is a very propitious day, for our sages teach that when a Tzadik passes from this world, he has a bigger effect than when he was alive.
The theme of Moses live was the TORAH, Moses is Torah! He breathed it, he lived it, and he taught it to us so we can continue in his footsteps. The only way in which we can grow in Torah is if we toil in Torah. To really achieve Torah, one must merit to discover new depths within it. When one studies properly, he merits for G-d to reveal insights to him that are far beyond his own reach.
The HaYom-Yom today says:”Its imperative that every Jew know that he is an emissary of the Master of all, charged with a mission-wherever he may be or bringing into reality G-d’s will and intention in creating the universe, namely, to illuminate the world with the light of Torah and Avoda(work). This is done through performing practical Mitzvot and implanting in oneself fine character traits.”
Today is a day of great revelation to the world and we should do extra Mitzvot giving extra tzedakah and learning Torah.
It’s also a day in which our prayers are deeply heard.
