Today is Rosh Chodesh Cheshvan also known as Marcheshvan (Scorpio). The experience of this month is LOVE (Chessed). Although our spiritual life challenges present us with disconfort and pain, the underlying motivation is that of Chessed, G-d’s love and kindness. The more we involve ourselves in acts of love and kindness, the more we receive for avoiding personal descents in our spiritual life.
