Today is 19 days of The Omer “Hod ShebeTiferet” ” Humility in Compassion”
Compassion can’t be arrogant, it has to be humble. Hod is to recognize that my ability to give doesn’t make me better than the recipient. H”S gave me the ability to give compassion. Israel is H”S gift to the Jews. We have to use our humility in compassion to understand this. Even if we built it through sweat and tears we are only able to do this because H”S gave it to us.
