The Gemara (Shabat 31) …

The Gemara (Shabat 31) tells, “There was a non Jew who came to Shammai, and said, ‘convert me, on the condition that you teach me the entire Torah as I stand on one foot.’ Shamai pushed him away…. Then the man came to Hillel, and Hillel converted him. Hillel said, ‘what is hateful to you don’t do to others, that is the entire Torah. The rest is commentary, go and learn it.”
This Gemara seems to teach us that the entire Torah is “ben adam lechaveiro”(man’s obligation to others)
This teaches us that helping a fellow man is the most important lesson of the Torah.
If you want to know how good is your relationship with G-d look at your relationships with others.
