The first three emotion …

By June 7, 2019 No Comments

The first three emotional attributes are Chessed (Kindness), Gevurah (Justice) and Tiferet(Compassion). Our forefather Abraham personified Chessed. He was Kind because he loved Kindness. This is an admirable trait, but there is no effort in it. He did it because that was his nature. Isaac on the other hand was Gevurah, which entails discipline and Justice. He acted kindly because this was the right way to be, even if he went against his nature. Jacob was Tiferet, he did for others even if they didn’t deserve it, this is compassion and this is Beauty.
Think in which areas of your life you tap into these attributes with yourself, others and G-d.
