The attribute that pers …

The attribute that personified our forefather Abraham was Chesed (Kindness). He would open his tent to all travelers and would invite them in to rest and have a delicious meal. He loved so much to do things for others that on the third day of his Brit Milah , when he was 99 years old , he went out to look for people he could have as guests. G-d had made the day very hot so no one would come and bother him while he recuperated, nevertheless Abraham was up to having guests and G-d sent three angels disguised as men to come and do Bikur Cholim (mitzvah of visiting the sick). The Angels where Michael, Gabriel and Rafael. Michael came to tell him that he would father Isaac, Gabriel came to tell him that Sodome would be destroyed and Rafael, which comes from the word Refuah (healing) came to heal him. From here we see that when we are busy doing acts of kindness for others we are recipients of much more kindness from H”S.
