Parashah “Vayigash” imparts a very valuable lesson to all of us on how to deal with hard feelings towards others.
When the brothers ask Yosef to forgive them, his answer to them is that although they were the means H”S used for his descent into Egypt, in truth everything was H”S plan to take him to were he needed to be.
Sometimes people wrong us and this is very painful and difficult to get over hard feelings.
If we are able to understand that the pain caused really comes from H”S so we can move forward to our next stop, we will be able to forgive more easily.
Definitely the person or people who cause the pain have free will to choose to do what they do and their accountability is with G-d, but the outcome has always been H”S plan.
So next time someone comes to ask for forgiveness be quick to forgive because when we do get the hidden message we will come to realize that everything was for our best.
