Prayer gives wings to o …

Prayer gives wings to our emotions and words to our yearnings. It has the power to uplift us and to plug us into the right outlet.
Any conversation with G-d is considered prayer. Our Sages in their infinite wisdom put together thousands of years ago a prayer book called a “Siddur.” The Men of the Great Assembly intended to create a vessel into we, the users, could pour our own intent and experiences. Although we all use the same book, each person creates his own individual prayer and relationship with his Creator depending on his intentions (Kavana) when praying.
Each time I pray, either with my Siddur, my Tehillim, or just sincere words from my heart I feel so much love and a cleansing of the soul And a calm feeling in my mind.
Each morning I get to thank H”S for my blessings, I recognize His sovereignty in the world and my life by meditating in His awesomeness, I realize how present He is and how much He cares about each one of us. I ask Him for my needs, and I pour out my pain and at the end I sing Aleinu in which I thank Him for making me who I am and giving me the opportunity to live life with understanding that it is Him and only Him who has the last word, He is the ultimate power. It’s an effort to constantly remember this, but that’s why we are here, right?
I end by asking G-d for the day in which the evil will vanish when the world will come to recognize H”S greatness, Oneness and perfection and finally His will, will bring the world to peace once and for all.
