On the second night of Passover we started counting The Omer with “Chesed Shebe Chesed” “Love and Kindness in Love and Kindness”.
Chesed has the ability to find the commonality and kinship between all of creation, and that commonality destroys any concept of individuality. More specifically Chesed is the desire of life, the life force of the universe, which is the ultimate purpose of creation.Like they say “love moves mountains”. G-d created the world because He wanted to give and to be able to give you need who to give to.
Exercise: try to give without expectations. True Chesed Shebe Chesed is when we give wanting nothing in return.
