The biggest Mitzvah of all is “to serve H”S with Joy” and Sforno comments:”Serve H”S with Joy as is befitting everyone who serves Him from Love.”
It is easy to do things for those we love with Joy because it is a manifestation of our love towards them. If we feel love for H”S we should feel joy when serving Him.
Mitzvahs shouldn’t be felt as if we are carrying a heavy load and we are inconvenienced, on the contrary, if we feel tremendous love towards our Creator then we should be happy to do them and feel tremendous pleasure at the same time. If you don’t feel this way, then start working on creating a loving relationship with H”S by meditating on all the goodness he does for you.
