“And Yitzchak loved Eisav because he was a hunter in his mouth.”(Bereshit 25:28)
Rabbi Eliyahu Dessler cited the Ari, that it is a mistake to think that Eisav was a complete hypocrite and just tried to deceive his father. The problem with Eisav was that he kept all his spirituality “in his mouth,” without swallowing it. Therefore he asked questions as: “how does one tithe salt?” This was an external matter and not something that would affect his inner being. A lot of bla,bla,bla…
So many people try to talk in a spiritual way, with high ethical and moral values in their lips, but when it comes to seeing their actions they go the opposite direction.
In life one must say what he means and mean what he says.
Ask yourself:”if what I think, say, and do are aligned?”
Make sure you walk the talk
