And the last day of this magical month is called Simchat Torah. In Israel both Sheminit Atzeret and Simchat Torah are celebrated on the same day, but in the Diaspora we celebrate them separately.
On Simchat Torah we complete the cycle of reading the Torah( the last verse of the book of Devarim ) and we begin anew with the book of Bereshit.
Simchat Torah is the celebration of the new dimension of the Torah that was given to us with the set of the second tablets. This new set of tablets, after Moses broke the first ones after the sin of the golden calf, revealed a new relationship with H”S. This tablets contained within them the capacity to do teshuvah( to repent and go back to who we are).
So men dance with the Torah as if they are the feet of the Torah. This dance transcends our limited intellects and emotions. It is an infinite dance that touches immortality itself.
