After waking up today t …

After waking up today to the horrific news we went to Tel Aviv and stopped at the Blind Museum. After we were given our sticks and ushered into blindness. Our guide Eitan, who is blind, took us for an hour and a half through a room, a forest, a boat ride, we crossed a street, went to the market, stopped to listen to some music and finally to a cafeteria where we were serviced by a blind bar tender. We finally got to sit and have a heart to heart talk with our guide who was born blind. He taught us three things. 1. Never be scared to go into the darkness, even if you don’t know your way you will always be able to find your way out. There will always be someone that will help you through with H”S help. 2.when you don’t see you don’t have stereotypes. The whole time we where in the blind dark we where being guided by someone we had never seen and we had faith in him 100%, maybe if we had met him before we wouldn’t of had trusted him. 3. Sometimes those who see, see less than those who don’t see.
Thank you Eitan for taking is from darkness to light.
Thank you H”S for giving us sight and vision.
