The term “Jew” comes from “Yehudah,” the fourth son of Leah our matriarch.
When she realized that H”S had given her more than what she was supposed to receive she named her son “Yehudah,” which means thankful. Between Jacob’s four wife’s each was meant to have three sons to complete the twelve tribes, but Leah received much more than the others, she was the progenitor of six of the twelve sons of Jacob.
Just as Leah did, let’s never forget to count or blessings and be grateful for everything we have.
