We can all communicate well with some people, but with others we can have a really hard time getting through.
So the question to ask ourselves is:”with whom do I communicate well?” Learn from your strengths, not from your weaknesses.
Make a mental note of the tone of voice and the way these people speak to you and make you feel.
This will help you speak to those who are not so easy to relate to in the same way and you will see how the response will be a very different response.
One of the major keys to interacting well with someone is for YOU to be in a positive state.
Be proactive in the way you speak and not reactive. People don’t like to be attacked. If you run after a mouse most likely he will run away, but if you corner him he will for sure bite you.
When we corner people they will react harshly, this is a natural response. But when people don’t feel threatened and they feel they are heard and acknowledged then the conversation can become very productive.
