Tonight we finish The week of Yesod with “Malchut Shebe Yesod” (Nobility in Bonding).
Healthy Bonding has to bring out the best of the other. It should strengthen and nurture your own dignity and the dignity of the other.
Someone who brings out the best of you is a keeper, never take them for granted and learn also to bring out the best in everyone you come upon.
The way to do this is to always look at the good of the other and make them see it too. I almost gave up on someone once and I’m happy I didn’t. That person after a lot of work was able to turn her perception of herself around and see the inherent beauty that she possessed inside.
We just have to show others that we believe in them and know their potential.
Once someone went to the Lubavitcher Rebbe and asked him what he did all day? He answered him saying “I help people find their switch” the other person asked “do you turn it on?” The Rebbe answered “that they have to do themselves, I just show them where it is”.
Wishing everyone a beautiful Shabbat
