Tonight is Rosh Chodesh Nissan!Month of miracles and freedom. Every year we recount the same story of the Jewish liberation from Egypt’s bondage at the Seder Table. Our children are the most important guests. We go thousands of years back to teach them that we should never forget where we come from and how those experiences have shaped us into caring and merciful people, that our actions create our future and our freedom is in the capacity to choose our behavior, but this can only be achieved when we are free from our own limitations, when our personalities, intellect and emotions are controlled by our freedom to choose and not the other way around. It’s important to teach our children right from wrong, they should know that H”S made them and that they are perfect to fulfill the purpose for which they were created. They just have to know so they can be free.
