Today we count the 42nd day of the Omer, finishing the week of “Yesod” with “Malchut She Be Yesod” (Kingship in Bonding).
The whole foundation is “Connection” to H”S, if we don’t have a relationship with Him we really have nothing. The 613 Mitzvahs (commandments) given to us are really connectors. Imagine 613 lines of communication from us to G-d. If we break one we still have 612. The beauty is that if we disconnect we can always plug back again. When we tie the knot of the broken rope the distance between H”S and us becomes shorter. All our boboos in life are only there so we can get closer to Him by doing Teshuvah (repentance and mending).
Everything happens for a reason, the free will we have is to want to be part of a relationship with our Loving Father.
When we are able to connect then we have achieved the combination of “Malchut She Be Yesod.”
