Today we count the 27th …

Today we count the 27th day of the Omer with “Yesod Shebe Netzach” (Bonding within Endurance).
In the monumental work of Rabbi Bachya ibn Paquda “Duties of the Heart,” he explains about the Oneness and Unity of G-d. For there to be enduring relationships between humans we need to understand that everything comes from the unity of G-d.
This is so, because when we are able to see H”S in everything and in everyone we will be able to make this connections. Even if we have a hard time with someone who is not so nice to us, we need to see the G-dly aspect to the situation. Ask yourself:” is this relationship teaching me something about myself, is there something in this person that is a mirror image of a character trait in me? Or if a certain situation happens to us, try to look at it with this lens. “Where is H”S here? What is it that is the correct thing to do at this moment? How can I be of service at this time?”
When we live with this awareness and perspective, we will se that nothing is random, everything is perfectly orchestrated and tailored made for you. And in this vast world you are a key part to the puzzle called life.
We are here to make unions and in this way we will create an eternal bond between the world, it’s people and G-d.
