Today is the 45th day of the Omer with “Tiferet Shebe Malchut” (Compassion in Kingship). Almost there till we get to the peak of the Mountain!!!
The Holy Rebbe of Ruzhin was very wealthy and he always made sure to live up to his wealth by wearing the most exquisite clothes, living in a very elegant home that looked like a palace and even his shoes were covered with gold. Very few people knew ,however, that under his shoes there were no soles. The Tzadik walked barefooted and with a lot of discomfort and pain. In this way he kept himself humble never forgetting his role in life.
Tiferet Shebe Malchut teaches us the importance of acting as ambassadors of G-d living up to the blessings He gives us, but never fooling ourselves into thinking that what we own and what we do make us into G-d.
Live a little higher, never forget who is in charge!
