Today is the 41st day of the Omer “Yesod Shebe Yesod” (Bonding within Bonding).
To truly bond with someone else we need to allow the other to be who he or she is. We need to appreciate his G-d given gifts and Iove them for WHO THEY ARE AND NOT FOR WHO WE WANT THEM TO BE.
When we are able to tap into this combination we will not only not try to change the other, instead we will help them shine their light in a much brighter way.
Let’s take this Shabbat to meditate on our relationships, let’s ask ourselves:”Am I too judgmental of others? How can I train myself to always look at the good in others? Am I scared to bond with others? What do I need to do to cultivate healthy relationships? How is my relationship with G-d? How is my relationship with myself?
We have one more week of this intensive refinement regiment called “the Omer.”
I truly hope you are gaining from it as much as I have by putting this together. My heartfelt wish is that we all reveal the purest part of ourselves and in this way make together this world what it is truly meant to be.
“It’s a small world after all.”
