To have a conscience you need to have values and morals first, if you don’t know what is right from wrong then you will never have a conscience and will never be able to be a Master of your will. When a person is righteous he/she will always have free will because he/she will be able to choose right from wrong. This is the most important thing you could ever teach your kids. When you ask a parent what they want for their kids? They answer “I want them to be happy”, if you want them to be happy teach the values and morals so they can choose in their lives and they are not trapped by what society rules. Not only that, but you also have to lead by example. To be a slave of our conscience will make us make the right choices, which will make us masters of our will which will bring true happiness.
