Throughout all the Parasha’s (Torah portions) there is a common thread were we see that G-d continuously puts the Jewish people in complicated situations. All human nature is expressed through the lives of our patriarchs, matriarchs, the Jewish people, our enemies and so on.
As we learn we realize that no one is perfect and we all have moments in which we fall. Then we see how repentance comes along and everything is good again. The Torah is not a history book, although it contains it it’s much more than that. The Torah teaches us how to think right, how to feel right and how to behave right. The Torah is the “tree of life”. It is G-d’s gift to humanity so we can live wholesome, moral and rich lives and most of all its His will. When we are able to connect to His desires and make His Ratzon (desire) our Ratzon we are able to live in the most magnificent way. Problems arise when we are not aligned to His reality and that is when things start happening. This only happens to remind us who is in charge.
