Something to think abou …

Something to think about and share this Shabbat. The stars shine in the night sky. By their light, even a person who walks in the darkness of the night will not get lost. The same applies to us, we all posses enough moral and spiritual light to influence others in the right path.
As Rashi explains, H”S counts and names the stars. There are two aspects to them: 1. Every star is counted as a star and 2. Each star is different, it has its own purpose and unique name. H”S counts the Jewish people like the stars, each one is unique and individual and at the same time every individual has his/her special qualities and gifts.
If each one of us would utilize our own individual strengths that H”S gave us, we could illuminate not only our own environment, but the entire world. Each action, word and thought has that power.
And when it’s most dark that is when we have the opportunity to shine the most.
