Shavuah Tov! Wishing everyone a blessed week.
I have always loved quotes. As a Latin we always express ourselves with old folk sayings, which gives more depth and feeling to our expression. When I began this account about two years ago my intention was to give those who followed one practical thought a day that could give them food for thought and make their day a little more meaningful by living more mindful, appreciative and happy. The idea was that you guys could concentrate in what really matters and let go of so much baggage. After a while the posts morphed into The connection of the quote and what is the Torah view on life.
When we die (in a 180 years) the sages say we will be asked three questions:
1. How did you deal in your business?
2. Did you study Torah every day?
3. Did we wait and yearned for Meshiach?
I hope that by you reading these posts every day, the answer will be YES “I am careful not to cheat others, I learned every day and I always yearned for the day where the world will be what it is really intended to be with the coming of Meshiach”.
May we all strive to always be in the upward ladder of life infusing our lives with holiness and never taking our time here and our potential for granted.
