Shavuah Tov! Wishing everyone a blessed new week and all MOTHERS a very happy day
Today we begin counting the fourth week of the Omer with”Netzach” (Endurance) as the leading sefira.
Netzach gives the long term view. It has the ability to see the bigger picture. In our body, Netzach is located in our right kidney. The kidneys are bean shaped organs that extract the waste from the blood. They are in charge of regulating the blood and fluids in the body.
Today we count the 22 day of the Omer with “Chesed shebe Netzach” (love and kindness within endurance), the Ramchal (Rabbi Moshe Chaim Luzzatto) explains: “The foundation of all piety and the root of complete Divine service is that a person comprehend the true nature of his duty in life and the aim and objective he must adopt in all his labors as long as he lives.”
This combination of “Chesed shebe Netzach,”is exactly what a mother needs in order to raise happy and well grounded children.
A mother should be kind and loving but at the same time she must have unwavering determination to follow the path of teaching her children right from wrong and sticking to the image of the end result, always bringing out the best in each one of our children and helping them unlock their potentials giving them the peace of mind that our unconditional love is always with them.
