Shavuah Tov!!! Rosh Chodesh Adar Tov!!! . Today we begin the blessed month of Adar, the month in which we celebrate Purim. The joy of Purim is in the knowledge that even if we can’t see H”S with our own eyes, we know that everything is orchestrated by Him by Divine Providence. Our sages say that: ” in the month of Adar we have to increase in our joy.” So take a thermometer and measure your happiness. Look at yourself and at your life and assess in 1 to 10 where you are and pull yourself one notch higher, even if you are in number ten go up to eleven.
But how? You would ask. Begin by counting your blessings and acknowledging the good in your life. When we make it a ritual to thank H”S by saying Baruch Hashem every time we realize how blessed we are, just by doing that your happiness level will be elevated because knowing where everything comes from is enough reason to be happy. Chassidut teaches that being b’simcha breaks all barriers. Joy is the biggest and most powerful weapon we own. And if you don’t find any reason to be happy, be happy anyways for this in itself will bring reasons to be happy.
