So today we return to our routines and material lives. How can we retain the inspiration of the month of Tishrei and carry it with us throughout the year? The secret is ACTION!!!! When we make resolutions in our lives to create change and go one step higher in the way we live, we fall short because we get discouraged. We don’t see the change right away. Remember, a Rolls Royce is not produced in one day, or a painting, or a new book. Worthy achievements take time and persistence.
The first step is awareness, pray to H”S that He should help you be aware of your personal opportunity for growth.
We don’t need to get away from the material world to accomplish this, on the contrary make your material world a vessel for the spiritual. When you go to work make sure to check on your speech and how you speak and treat others, put a Tzedakah box in your office and home and put a coin every day, when you eat say a blessing.This minimal changes might seem insignificant, but in the grander scale they are huge because little by little you begin to transform into a more giving and loving person.
These are just some ideas, they can be applied in every area of your life.
Remember start little , one thing at a time and you will see how you can accomplish so much and you won’t get overwhelmed.
Remember that the key to life is to bring heaven down to earth.
