Rosh Chodesh Elul Tov!!!!
Today is Rosh Chodesh Elul. We are one month away from the High Holidays and we use this month in preparation to come up to The King with Awe and prepared to pray for the year to come. I will be posting every day something that will help us prepare for this awesome days.
Elul is an acronym for “Ani L’dodi V’dodi Li” “I am for my beloved, and my beloved is for me”
Elul is a month of love. In Elul we are given the opportunity to find our way back to H”S . In this month The King Is In The Field, it is when H”S is most accessible to us. We just have to want to be close to Him and with no effort He is close to us. Let’s take the opportunity that is given to us this month and seek to repair our mistakes and transgressions of this past year. Elul defines our relationship with G-d as reciprocal “I am for my beloved, and my beloved is for me”! Everyone’s relationship with H”S is personal and unique. Make it special.
