Rosh Chodesh Adar Tov!!!! Tonight will be the first day of the month of Adar. Our sages teach that on the month of Adar we have to increase in Joy. This year is a leap year and we get a double month of Adar or as it’s known a pregnant month, so the Joy has to be increased double. The word Adar comes from the word “Adir” which signifies strength and power. The story of Purim takes place on the month of Adar. The biggest mitzvah there is, is “to serve H”S with joy”. Let’s tap into the mood of joy the next two months and let’s try to be happy for everything in our lives for joy breaks all barriers.
