Many years ago I heard …

Many years ago I heard Rebbetzin Gurelik from Milan, Italy give a talk and I have never forgotten what she said. She said that at night when it’s dark and the sun is not shining is when we can see the stars. It doesn’t mean that during the day, the stars are not there. The stars are in the same place day or night, but when there is light we cannot see them because they are light too. It is only at night that we can see the stars, like diamonds, shining in the sky. The same way is with us, only in the darkest times we can shine the most. Hard times are only intended for us to show ourselves and be able to shine.
