In the Ha Yom-Yom of today it says: “By groaning we will not achieve salvation. A groan is only a key to open the heart and eyes, so as not to sit there with folded arms, but to plan orderly work an activity, each person wherever he can be effective, to campaign for bolstering Torah, spreading Torah and observance of Mitzvot. One person might do this through his writing, another with his oratory, another with his wealth.”
What a great teaching for us in achieving our potentials. We should not compare ourselves to others, we need to look inside of us and see what we have to give. Everyone has something to add no matter the situation.
Always ask yourself: “how can I be of service here?”
So next time you groan take it a step further “open your heart and your eyes.”
