For most people Monday mornings are not the best part of the week. It is always hard to start again. The Torah gives us the best gift for this feeling of laziness and that is the morning prayers which begin by thanking G-d for giving us a new day “Mode Ani Lefaneja Melej Chai Vekayiam, Shehehezarta Bi Nishmati Behemelaj Raba Emunateja” “( I offer thanks to You, living and eternal King, for You have mercifully restored my soul within me; Your faithfulness is great)”!
When the first thing we do when we open our eyes in the morning (before thinking its Monday) is to recite this blessing and we acknowledge the immense gift that it is to be given a new day and another opportunity of life, we are not only happy but also we are full of energy to jump out of bed and look forward to what life has to offer. Have a blessed day!
