Eight days to Rosh Hash …

By June 7, 2019 No Comments

Eight days to Rosh Hashana, as we approach the final week of Elul we should begin to feel that we have tremendous strength. Our parents, grandparents and past generations before them are who give us that strength. When we listen to their stories of resilience and heroism we realize that we come from a very strong place.
Every generation has its own challenges. Ours might not be the same as our parents and grandparents, but nevertheless they are challenges.
H”S only asks us to do that which we are capable of. We don’t need to be like the Giants of the past. We just have to do what we can, but we do need to put the effort. When we stand on their shoulders we can have a broader view of the past, our present and the future we envision. We do have more opportunities than them because we have their strength and history, we just need to add the next link so our children can be the next after us.
