Wishing everyone a Shabbat Shalom!!!! Tonight is Rosh Chodesh Nissan, the month of miracles and before Shabbat starts there is this special prayer to ask for Parnasah (good material livelihood). Some people feel that they shouldn’t pray for their sustenance, but on the contrary, when we pray for our sustenance we are reaffirming that G-d is the one that provides for us. Having money is not a want it’s a need every human being has. We need to eat, dress, educate our children, live under a roof and so on. The intention of why we need money changes our whole relationship with it. When we ask why, then we can elevate it to serve us instead of us being a servant of it.So take the opportunity today and stop for a few minutes and pray for your material needs and that H”S sends them in abundance so you can also help others in need.
