Every day we should see ourselves as if we just left Egypt. Egypt in Hebrew is “Mitzraim” which means limitations. Why should we view ourselves in this way? Because every day we are faced with occurrences that set us back from our dreams and goals. When we think we are close to achieving that something, suddenly another something comes along that blocks your way. We should never despair and we should keep going knowing that only with G-ds help, just as the Jews were liberated from Mitzraim H”S helps us conquer our own limitations. If we are attached to G-d and only G-d He will open the ocean for us and let us through.
