Today is the 20th day of the Omer “Yesod Shebe Tiferet” (Bonding in Compassion).
“For compassion to be fully realized, it needs bonding. It requires creating a channel between giver and receiver; a mutuality that extends beyond the moment of need; a bond that continues to live on. That is the most gratifying result of compassion” ( By Rabbi Simon Jacobson).
B”H we have had very special people through our JEWISH history who have enabled us to always be connected to G-d. These Shepards of G-d have nurtured our souls with their explanations of the Torah and have made it possible for many of us simple Jews to be able to learn and appreciate the value of our life. They may not be here any more but their legacy is eternal.
Try to ensure something eternal is built as a result of your compassion.
