Today we begin counting the fourth week of the Omer with Netzah (endurance, fortitude, ambition and resilience).
Endurance means to be ALIVE. It is the ability to have a drive to pursue healthy and productive goals. It is the strength to fight for what we believe in. Without Netzach we would never be able to get things done and fulfill the purpose for which we were created.
Today is the 22nd day of the Omer “Chesed Shebe Netzach” ( love and kindness in endurance).
In Chovos Halevavos (guide to duties of the heart) Rabbi Bahya ibn Paquda writes “I’d like you to know, my brother, that even if a person reaches the highest spiritual level in his relationship to the Almighty, even if he reaches the spiritual and behavioral level of the prophets, he has not yet reached the level of a person who has guided others to do good….”
Walk around knowing that your behavior and what you represent affects all around you. It’s not so much what you say but what you do that creates everlasting impressions on others.
Be a role model, someone that can change others for the best!
Shavuah Tov! Wishing you a blessed week.
