Before Shabbat begins I want you to ponder on tonight’s combination which ends the week of Netzach with “Malchut Shebe Netzach” (Nobility in Endurance).
The Ramchal (Moshe Chaim Luzato in his monumental work “Derech Hashem” -The Ways of G-d-) writes “G-d’s design is very deep, and He arranged things so that even though man must be immersed in the physical, he is able to rise to perfection through his worldly activities and the physical world itself. It is precisely through these that he attains a pure and lofty state… For when he transforms the darkness into light and deathly shadow into sparkling brilliance, he earns for himself unparalleled excellence and glory.”
