Continuing with our series on Baseless Love, we have to understand where baseless hate comes from. Sinat Chinam comes from “Yeshus” our EGO. Egotism is a horrible malady in which we become so full of ourselves that we can’t respect or tolerate others points of view. Strife and contention happen when we have difference of hearts, but when we are able to nullify the ego and give ourselves into what G-d wants for us and others, then and only then we will be able to live at peace with us and the rest of the world.
