This beautiful song by Matisyahu “One Day” is what we should all be yearning for and H”S is waiting for us to be able to trade all this for that.
Tonight it’s called Shabbat Chazon “Shabbat of Vision”. On this Shabbat says Rabbi Levi Yitzchak of Berdichev every one of us is granted a vision of the Third and final Temple. As the Talmud says “though we do not ourselves see, our souls see.” This vision awakens a yearning in us of what it should be.
Tonight it’s also the 9th of AV, but since it falls on Shabbat we don’t fast and the fast is postponed till after Shabbat.
I hope everyone puts their little grain and tries to fast. You should eat before Shabbat ends before Arvit (look at your local calendar times of the time the fast begins) and it ends on Sunday night. This is the longest fast due to the summer long hours. For more information about Tisha B’Av you can log into Chabad.org.
Hopefully Meshiach will come and our vision will become a reality.
Shabbat Shalom
Live a little higher
Go to Shul and read the book of Eichach (Lamentations)
