Shavuah Tov! Wishing everyone a very blessed week❤️
Today we STOP, REMEMBER and MOURN the loss of life of 15 years ago on September 11,2001.
Everyone remembers where they where and what they were doing on that fateful morning. The shock, pain and fear is forever imprinted in our beings.
We are now fifteen years after and I bet no one is the same as before this horrific day happened. Terrorism has grown tremendously since then and no one feels safe anymore. A very pure part of us has been shattered to pieces.
But from destruction comes rebuilding, this is the only thing we can really do, either we break or we build. This time our foundation will be stronger and better.
When Moses went up to Mount Sinai to receive the Tablets he asked G-d to meet face to face:”I beg you, show me your glory.”(Exodus 33:18)
G-d responds, “You cannot see My face, for no man can see Me and live… But you shall see my back…”
In the language of the metaphor Moses asked to understand G-d’s ways. G-d’s answer to him was that it is impossible to see His essence in this world, but it is possible to see His reflection.
H”S sometimes makes situations for us that come from His back. he really doesn’t want to do them, but they are necessary for our growth and betterment. It’s like when a parent takes his child to get vaccines. The parent really doesn’t want to do it because the child will cry and feel pain, but he has to do it for the well being of the child.
The same happens in life. Sometimes we have to experience tremendous pain, in the case of September 11 it was a universal collective pain, that who knows why we all had to experience together. What we do know is that if everyone became a better person because of it then we honor those who gave their lives “for the name of G-d” so we could all grow in our unity, kindness and love for each other. May we never know of more horror and pain like this ever in our lifetime and may we experience instead the redemption with the coming of Meshiah and the day that G-d’s glory will be revealed.
MAY THEIR MEMORIES BE OF BLESSING
Live a little higher
