I hope everyone had a meaningful and joyous Rosh Hashana. Today we are in the third day of the ten days of Teshuvah between Rosh Hashana till Yom Kippur.
This ten days give us the opportunity to even get closer to The King, they are so powerful that one individual is granted the power of a group of ten.
Teshuvah means to return. In order to be able to do Teshuvah we first have to acknowledge what is not right in us and repent for our misdeeds by regretting our action, resolving to not repeat it again and asking forgiveness.
Then we can return to our soul, one’s Divine Essence, to one’s source in G-d.
This implies that there is a part of us that is whole and pure and no matter how much damage it has gone through in our lives we must know that there is a part of us that maintains its dignity and goodness.
This acknowledgement should be enough to empower us to take the right turn and do what has to be done.
