In last and this week’s Parashas “Lech Lecha” and “Vayeira” we are introduced to a very special man. Abraham was known as the “one from the other side of the river” because he didn’t go with the flow. He was able to be the first person to see the EMET the truth and the oneness of H”S. He lived his life with integrity not doing what was comfortable for him but doing what was right, descent and what G-d asked. This is why all monotheistic religions come from him (Christianity, Muslim and Jewish) and his descendants can’t be counted just as the stars. Let’s emulate his ways by being true to ourselves and always trying to do the right thing even if the whole world is going on the opposite direction.
